Brighton chief Paul Barber is coy over interest in Liverpool veteran James Milner.
Off contract in June, Milner is said to be in talks with the Seagulls.
Barber said on Thursday night: "There's lots of rumours in this business, isn't there?
"But, we're always looking to add experience and quality to the club, and obviously there's one or two candidates out there that fit that bill very nicely."
Barber was speaking before Brighton's 1-0 win against Manchester United.
