Brighton are seeking to bring in young forward Simon Adingra from Danish club Nordsjaelland.
The Albion have been tracking the 20-year-old Ivory Coast international for several months.
According to The Argus, there are no updates on when the deal will be done, but an agreement is thought to be close.
Adingra was wanted by several Premier League clubs this summer.
He netted 12 goals in 40 games for Nordsjaelland.
