Brighton are set to speak with Arsenal over a loan deal for Nuno Tavares.
The left-back is not wanted at the Emirates Stadium club this season.
Kieran Tierney is the first-choice left back, while new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko can fill in there as well.
According to O Jogo, Brighton are looking to secure a replacement for Marc Cucurella, who is Manchester City-bound.
If they sell Cucurella, Tavares would be an affordable option to bring in for the coming season.
