Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is aware that he may lose two of his key first team stars in the summer.
The Italian is not naive about the reality of managing a smaller club in the Premier League.
With midfielders Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister linked with moves to top six teams, De Zerbi hopes qualifying for the Europa League can convince them to stay for one more year.
We can offer Moises and Alexis the opportunity to play in Europe," the Brighton boss told reporters.
Our level is bigger now. They are very good guys and it will help.
I think for myself and the club but also for the players - they have one life and we can't decide for them."
