Brighton manager Graham Potter is delighted with the form of Leandro Trossard.
The Belgian attacker scored a superb 14-minute hat-trick in the 5-1 pre-season win over Espanyol.
Albion boss Potter said: "He has got the qualities, we all know that.
"I think he likes that role off the left.
"It means that he can play centrally from there, and he can obviously come on his right side and score.
"So it looks like he is enjoying his football.
"He finished off the season really well and we're excited to see him start it again."
