Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has resisted interest from Manchester United as he wants to join Liverpool.

Ecuador's Studio Futbol says Caicedo has turned down a move to Manchester United in favour of linking up with Klopp at Liverpool.

If this is to be believed then the 20-year-old may have already endeared himself to the Reds fans.

At just the tender ago of 20, Caicedo arguably fits the bracket for the type of player Jurgen Klopp would sign for Liverpool, but it seems unlikely Brighton would be willing to part ways with their emerging talent - who is contracted to the Seagulls until 2025.

Klopp has suggested he is happy with his midfield options at Liverpool, but injuries to Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has put strain on the middle of the park for the Reds
