Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari is happy with his progress on-loan at Coventry City.

The young Swede admits he feels the move was the right decision for his development.

Ayari told Expressen: "I have always been someone who fights to the last, ever since I was little. But I felt I was in a situation in my career where playing all the time is the most important thing.

"At Brighton I might have played, but I don't think I would have played every game. Maybe jump in a few, start a few. I felt that I wanted to start, start, start.

"In terms of football, there are no problems. It is the physicality that is the big difference when it comes to the Allsvenskan. Although I have put on quite a lot of weight now. In the first five months, I put on maybe four kilos of muscle. Gym every day. I need a little more."
