Brighton owner Tony Bloom thinks fans have realistic expectations for the 2022/23 season.
The Seagulls are preparing for a sixth successive top-tier campaign.
Bloom told The Argus: "I think our fanbase are realistic to know that ninth was amazing, a well-deserved ninth as well.
"To keep that up is not easy so I'd like to think the fans understand the club and where we have been.
"We always want to aim high.
"We have to be realistic to some extent."
