The Albion are having to fend off interest from fellow Premier League club Fulham for Igor's signature.
Fiorentina value the Brazilian defender at around 20 million, while Fulham only put in a bid of 7 million.
Brighton appear to have come closer to Fiorentina's asking price, which will see them win the race.
Igor is ready to move to Brighton, given they are in the Europa League next season.
