MARSEILLE, Dec 30 — Brigitte Bardot’s funeral will be held in a church in Saint-Tropez on January 7 followed by a “private” burial in the French Riviera town, the late actor’s foundation said Monday.
The mayor’s office earlier said the film-star-turned-animal-rights-activist, who died aged 91 on Sunday, would be laid to rest in the town’s seaside cemetery. The Brigitte Bardot Foundation did not immediately confirm this information. — AFP
