Kota Kinabalu: Constitutional lawyer Datuk Tengku Fuad Tengku Ahmad said Malaysia should summon Dr Gonzalo Stampa who operated outside the scope of his duty as an arbiter in the Sulu arbitration and hold him accountable for all the legal fees incurred by Malaysia to this point.
“This must be done so that others are deterred, dissuaded, and discouraged from engaging in the kind of unusual and atrocious behaviour demonstrated by Stampa in the future,” he said.
According to Fuad, the Sulu arbitral experience was a classic disaster in which abusive behaviour not only existed but thrived.
