Bristol City boss Liam Manning felt they matched Nottingham Forest for their FA Cup 0-0 draw.
City turned in a spirited performance on the night.
Manning said: "I'm really pleased. It epitomises what the group is about. I thought we had some really good passages of control. I can't speak highly enough of the lads.
"I thought they showed a terrific level of focus throughout the game. The history of the club in the cup, we can use that to inspire use. We have shown away at West Ham we can perform. We can take the belief from that [into the replay with Forest].
"We have shown the level we can hit. What he lads have shown over three games against Premier League is that we are heading in the right direction."
