  • A new poll reveals that "none of the above" is the most popular political leader choice among Britons just before the local elections.
  • Of 1,780 voters polled by More in Common, 41 per cent, when presented with a list of candidates, said “none of the above” would be the most effective in governing the country.
  • Twenty-three per cent selected Nigel Farage, 19 per cent chose Sir Keir Starmer, 8 per cent said Kemi Badenoch, 6 per cent said Ed Davey, and 2 per cent said Carla Denyer/Adrian Ramsay.
  • Reform UK, led by Mr Farage, is predicted to make significant gains in the election, capitalising on disillusionment with Labour and the Conservatives.
  • Key issues for voters include competence to run councils for Tory, Lib Dem, and Labour voters, while national immigration policies are paramount for Reform UK supporters.
