
Brunei’s Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, 78, was admitted to the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday due to fatigue, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim confirmed.
The Sultan is in Malaysia for the ASEAN-GCC and ASEAN-China summits.
A government source said he was hospitalised between the meetings, adding the National Heart Institute is the designated VIP medical facility for the events.
