Chelsea interim coach Bruno Saltor remained coy on whether he would be in charge in a few days.
Saltor was in temporary charge for the 0-0 draw against Liverpool after the sacking of Graham Potter.
He was asked by reporters if he would still be in the hot seat by the time they play Wolves on Saturday.
Saltor responded: "As it stands, I expect to go home and rest and focus on day by day and the owners.
They know that the staff are going to be the most professional we can and we're going to try to represent this club as best we can.
"We know the standards here. We know the demand and that's what we try to do all the time."
