Kota Kinabalu: Kumpulan BTC Berhad has pledged to allocate one per cent from every Ramadan buffet voucher sale here to be donated to the underprivileged group of people in Sabah.
Its Managing Director Datuk Abdul Kadir bin M.E. Sikkandar said this is in line with the slogan of its Ramadan buffet this year “Amal Kongsi Rezeki” (Charitable Sharing of Sustenance) at BTC Bistro Inanam branch, recently.
It is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) in conjunction with the Holy Ramadan month.
“We started it last year and channelled all the proceeds to a charity home, Rumah Anak Kesayangan in Likas near here,” he said of the one per cent from Ramadan buffet voucher sales for charity homes and NGOs.
