After months of near-silence following January’s enormous announcement, Live Nation Malaysia has finally dropped all the details fans have been waiting for. BTS is coming back to Kuala Lumpur, and it has been a long time coming.

BTS will perform at TM National Stadium (formerly Bukit Jalil National Stadium) on 12 and 13 December 2026, with shows beginning at 7.30 PM MYT. The two-night run marks the group’s first Malaysian appearance in 11 years, their last visit having taken place back in 2015. With all seven members now having completed their mandatory military service and a brand new studio album, ‘ARIRANG’, released on 20 March 2026, the timing feels momentous.

The Malaysian dates form part of BTS’s sweeping ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, which was confirmed in January and spans five continents, 34 cities, and 79 shows in total. The tour opened in Goyang, South Korea in April, moved through Japan and North America, and is currently making its way through Europe and Latin America before the Asia-Pacific leg brings the group to Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta later this year. The run continues into 2027 with dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Manila, with additional cities in Japan and the Middle East still to be announced.

One of the most talked-about aspects of the ‘ARIRANG’ tour is its stage design, and for good reason. The production uses an immersive 360-degree, in-the-round configuration, meaning the audience forms a circle around the performers rather than facing a traditional proscenium stage. Inspired by the Korean national flag, the custom structure features a central square main stage with extended walkways and smaller B-stages extending outward in all four cardinal directions. In practical terms, this means performances will face every direction throughout the night, so no matter where your seat is, you will have a close view of the members at some point during the show.

Tickets are priced across seven categories, ranging from RM338 to RM1,288. Here is the full breakdown:

Do note that all ticket prices shown are before additional fees. A ticket fee of RM16.20 applies per ticket, alongside a booking charge of RM21.60 per transaction (all inclusive of SST). Those paying via SPaylater will also be subject to a 3% processing fee on the total amount.

The sole VIP option available for the Malaysian dates is the Soundcheck VIP Package, priced at RM1,288. This includes one premium seated ticket, access to the pre-show soundcheck party, an exclusive VIP laminate and lanyard, an exclusive VIP gift item, and early access to the merchandise booth ahead of the general crowd.

Several pre-sale windows are opening before tickets go on general sale, so mark these dates carefully. The first window belongs to the ARMY Membership pre-sale, which opens on 3 June from 11 AM to 10 PM MYT. Accessing this requires prior registration on Weverse, with the registration window running from 22 May at 1 PM MYT to 27 May at 11 AM MYT. Only fans who complete registration within this specific window will be eligible for the pre-sale, so do not leave it to the last minute.

The following day, two separate pre-sale windows open simultaneously. The Trip.com pre-sale runs on 4 June from 9 AM to 11.59 PM MYT, while the Live Nation pre-sale opens on the same day from 11 AM to 10 PM MYT, accessible to anyone with a free Live Nation account.

General sale then begins on 5 June at 11 AM MYT, with tickets available through both Live Nation and GoLive Asia.

There is a maximum of four tickets per transaction. For the ARMY membership pre-sale specifically, the limit is four tickets per Weverse ID per show date. The overall purchase cap across the Live Nation pre-sale and general sale is eight tickets per show date combined. If you hit that eight-ticket ceiling during the pre-sale, you will not be able to buy additional tickets once general sale opens.

You will need a GoLive account to complete your purchase, so make sure you have registered ahead of time using a valid and active email address. Once your tickets are purchased, the email linked to your account cannot be changed for security reasons. Only one principal name is required per transaction.
