BTS fans in Singapore (and the region) are in for a treat this June as BTS member Suga is set to perform two concerts at the Singapore Indoor Stadium as part of his maiden solo world tour, Suga August D.
The concerts will take place on June 17 and 18, making him the first member of the South Korean boy band to embark on a solo journey.
The tour kicks off on April 26 at Belmont Park in New York and will see him travel to other parts of Asia, including Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.
General ticket sales for the Singapore leg of the tour will begin on April 5, while fans who are Army Members through Weverse will be able to purchase their tickets via pre-sale starting fom April 3.
Ticket prices for the Singapore shows ranges from SG$168 (RM560) to SG$348 (RM1,160) for VIP standing. VIP ticket holders will gain access to the stage during soundcheck and receiving a commemorative laminate with a lanyard, as well as exclusive photo cards.
Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, is a rapper, songwriter, and music producer, and has been a member of BTS since 2013. He is well-known for his record-producing abilities, constantly pushing boundaries through his work on BTS albums, solo projects, and collaborations with other artists.
Since BTS' 2014 Skool Luv Affair, Suga has produced tracks for every BTS album, and has also released his own mixtapes under the name Agust D, showcasing his unique vision as an artist. He has also collaborated with international musicians such as Juice WRLD, Max, and So-ra Lee, and has produced music for globally influential artists including Halsey, PSY, Epik High, and more.
