During the presentation of the Belanjawan 2023 initiative, Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that, in order to increase the disposable income of M40 households, the government has agreed to reduce individual income tax rates!
Resident individual income tax rate reduced by 2% involving the range of more than RM35,000 to RM100,000.
