Budget 2027 provides a RM2,500 living allowance for 90,000 Form Six students and RM870 million for the Supplementary Food Programme benefiting over 800,000 pupils.
PETALING JAYA: Some 90,000 Form Six students will benefit from a RM2,500 living allowance under Budget 2027, bringing their assistance in line with that received by matriculation students.
Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the move, which had been announced earlier, was aimed at supporting students pursuing pre-university education.
He also announced an allocation of RM870 million for the Supplementary Food Programme (RMT), benefiting more than 800,000 schoolchildren nationwide.
