
KUALA LUMPUR – Basic credit cards with annual interest rates capped at 14% will be offered by banking institutions under Budget 2027 to help consumers reduce borrowing costs.
Tabling the budget in the Dewan Rakyat today, Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim acknowledged Alliance Bank, Maybank and CIMB for offering the facility.
