Budget 2027 offers tax deductions of up to 10% of aggregate income for cash donations to school public contribution funds to improve facilities and student programmes.
PETALING JAYA: Parents, alumni and members of the public who make cash donations to school public contribution funds will be eligible for tax deductions of up to 10% of their aggregate income under Budget 2027.
Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government would improve the School Public Contribution Fund to encourage greater community participation in creating better learning environments.
He said voluntary contributions could be used to support school operations, repair facilities, purchase equipment and fund student programmes.
