Infinix has released its latest budget friendly smartphone – the SMART 8 Pro – in Malaysia. The brand’s affordable offering is officially priced at only RM399, and is now available nationwide at Infinix authorized dealers. Alternatively, you can also put in your orders online at Infinix’s official store on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
As part of its first sales promo, there will be a free shipping offer from the 31st of January until the 29th of February 2024.
Powering the Infinix SMART 8 Pro is MediaTek’s entry-level offering, the Helio G36, which was released early in 2023. The device comes with 4GB of RAM, with the option to pile on another 4GB via Extended RAM; and 128GB of storage.
The SMART 8 Pro is fitted with a 6.6″ display with HD+ (720p) resolution, with a decent 90Hz refresh rates to go with it. Peak brightness, however, only goes up to 500nits.
At the rear, in a rounded square module are dual 50MP AI cameras, with apertures that go as large as f/1.8. The third circular shape in the module is a Ring Flashlight. Flip the phone to the front and you’ll see an 8MP punch-hole front camera.
The SMART 8 Pro runs on a 5,000mAh battery. Volume levels goes up to 200%, and has a side fingerprint sensor as well as face unlock for security.
You can have the SMART 8 Pro in Shiny Gold, Timber Black, Galaxy White, and Rainbow Blue.
