Kota Kinabalu: The upcoming 2023 National Budget should not only focus on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and tourism boost, but also looking after people under B40 especially their children living in the rural areas in Sabah and Sarawak.
Malaysia Entrepreneurs’ Development Association (PUMM) National Vice President Dato’ George Lim said these were biggest losers during the Covid-19 pandemic where many students, especially those from rural Sabah and Sarawak, were sent back from residential schools to their respective villages due to limited transport and internet.
