You may want to build an ark like Noah did or ask Zahid to hold back the floods like Moses did to get you to the polls during the monsoon.
GE15 has to be the craziest election in recent memory for Malaysia. The timing is just incredibly terrible for everyone.
Even the US Embassy has warned its citizens in the country to be prepared for what's in store at the end of the year. The outlook is bleak.
Even the supreme authority in the land knew after having consulted the weathermen that November is likely to be the worst of months, weather-wise.
Yet, our leaders, in their wisdom chose to dissolve Parliament because some more mighty politicians want to escape from being sentenced by the courts while a few would like to get out of prison by discouraging people who will be hampered by the rain and flood from coming out to vote against them.
On the other hand, these very same politicians are willing to make their supporters wade through flood waters and brave the anticipated stormy weather to get to the polls just to make sure Zahid and his UMNO-BN cronies are returned to power.
The gullible or those voters seduced by promises from political leaders would show up for a few dollars more or some packets of dry goods to do the needful as urged by a "crazy" chief.
But then again have you, as a strong supporter of BN-UMNO, ever thought about how will Zahid Hamidi get you to the polls on time?
Did he promise you a boat, a canoe or a "tongkang" or an ark like the one built by Noah for his believers to avoid the deluge?
Or has he said that he'll part the tide like Moses did and make a path for you to get through to the polling booth without letting you get soaking wet in waist-high floods?
Or will he even be there to hold an umbrella for you to stop the raindrops from falling on your head?
Or will he even give you tips on how to walk on water as Jesus did? That would help. But Zahid is no saint or "wali" to have such knowledge.
However, Zahid has said nothing about getting you to the polls dry, safe and in good time.
All he ever said is that BN-UMNO has to win so he and his cronies would not be prosecuted for their crimes.
In case you missed the story, he did utter these incredible words at a recent MIC General Assembly, naming his deputy president, and heads of MIC and MCA who would be charged along with him for a crime we are not privy to as yet but he seemed to have accepted that they did commit.
He realised that they would not be able to escape going to prison for their offences if a non-BN-UMNO-led government were to be returned to power like what happened in 2018.
Do you not see that he was only thinking about himself and his other "partners in crime."
He was not even thinking of you the rakyat as a statesman should.
You exist to make their lives better. They are not going to lift a finger to help you.
During the time of Noah, it was the people who rejected truth under his leadership.
So, the prophet toiled on his own to build an ark to save humanity in the face of an oncoming deluge destined to destroy every soul on earth.
But here, in this case, the rakyat is on the right path and is not with the so-called leaders who are lost and are alleged to be "self-confessed criminals" like Zahid and perhaps other leaders of the three parties in BN. Voices calling on Zahid to step down are growing louder.
By now everyone realised that there is no ark that is being built to save you in case of a calamity like the one that swallowed everyone during the time of Noah or even help you get to the election on time.
Will we have enough boats for the possible floods or umbrellas for voters in the coming weeks when monsoon rain beats down on our faces?
Is it the Election Commission's job to supply umbrellas, raincoats, boats, and canoes to voters?
Or would Zahid be on hand to part the floods and offer you a path to the polling stations just like Mosses did for the Israelites escaping the Pharaoh's army across the Red Sea out of Egypt?
Forget it because Zahid is no Prophet. Believe him at your own peril and perish like Noah's wife and son did in the deluge for following satan.
In fact, Zahid and his cronies are only betting on a few die-hard BN-UMNO supporters who believe enough in them to turn out to vote for the coalition.
Zahid is counting on numbers from BN-UMNO that might be just enough to give him and all the tainted leaders a chance to grab power to lord over you yet again for the next four to five years.
So, deny them the opportunity by showing up in your own small 'ark' or swim or wade in flood waters and cover yourself with a borrowed umbrella or use your plastic table cloth to avoid raindrops from falling on your head but get to the polling booths on time and make sure we get rid of these exploiters who have been cheating us for decades.
Don't count on Zahid to stop the rising tides, row a boat or hold an umbrella just to help you to the polling booths.
You are only a number to him, a means to get back into positions of power.
Do not be influenced by promises outlined in the budget either. It has yet to be approved during the sitting of the next Parliament.
Zahid and BN-UMNO coalition cannot guarantee that it'll be implemented. It remains just a promise!
Rely on your conscience. Vote whom you think will be better for the country than the current bunch of corrupt leaders who are clueless about managing a nation and its citizens. All they want is to escape from doing time in prison.
