Bukit Aman director leads police gallantry award recipients list

KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, conferred the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis award on Bukit Aman Management Department director Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid today.

Abdul Aziz led the list of 109 recipients at the Royal Malaysia Police gallantry awards and medals investiture for 2025.

The ceremony took place at the Balairung Seri in Istana Negara.

Also receiving the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis award were Bukit Aman Logistics and Technology Department director CP Gilberd Philip Layang.

Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad and Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail were among the other recipients of this award.

His Majesty conferred the Panglima Setia Pasukan Polis award on five recipients during the ceremony.

Sixteen individuals received the Pahlawan Pasukan Polis award at the investiture.

The Kesatria Pasukan Polis award was presented to six recipients.

Seventy-eight officers and personnel received the Bentara Pasukan Polis medal.

These awards recognize the contributions and sacrifices of police officers and personnel of various ranks.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail attended the ceremony.

Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail was also present at the event. – Bernama
