SANDAKAN: Internal discussions have begun between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) on potential cooperation, although no official announcement has been made, said Sabah BN chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin (pic) here on Friday.
He said the proposal has received positive feedback from both sides, with ongoing talks focusing on technical adjustments to align their approaches.
Bung suggested that the two major coalitions unite for the upcoming Sabah state election to ensure political stability and continuity of the state-level unity government.
He added that BN Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi supports the idea and is expected to make an official statement soon.
Commenting on Datuk Shahelmy Yahya, Bung said his Umno membership had been suspended for six years due to disloyalty, which was in line with party decisions made last year.
