Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is eager to take their winning momentum into their clash against Chelsea.

The Clarets face Chelsea on the back of victory at Luton.

Kompany said, I can't deny it must be a sense of relief for a lot of the players, especially the ones who had never won in the Premier League.

"I think for us now it's reminding ourselves we move on. We've got Chelsea soon and that's obviously a key game for us back at home.

I believe the team had confidence before Luton but there's no doubt in my mind we can take many positives from that game into the Chelsea game on Saturday."

Kompany added: I'm not really a big believer of confidence being honest. I know ideally you want it and you want confidence but I think you've got to build your own confidence in moments where you might not have the results.

I think confidence comes from consistency and doing what you should be doing every time and trusting that you can do it and that you belong there."
