Burnley boss Vincent Kompany rates Liverpool as his toughest opponent as a player.
Kompany says he enjoyed City's rivalry with the Reds.
"Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool was for sure the best team we faced under Pep," Kompany said on The Overlap.
"[Sadio] Man, [Mohamed] Salah, [Roberto] Firmino at their best you knew if you lost the ball, the transitions would be massive for them.
"They were relentless, and it made them nearly as great as our Manchester City team at the time, but we just edged it."
