Burnley boss Vincent Kompany plans talks with Wout Weghorst at the end of the season.
Weghorst is on-loan at Manchester United to the end of the season from the Clarets.
Koompany said, "He is a player from Burnley who has played in the top four of the Premier League for Manchester United and also for Holland,.
"The most important thing for me - and it is difficult for me to say for sure in view of the Cup final (against Manchester City) - is that he personally ends the season on a high.
"But still I want him to do well and we will have the conversation (about the future)."
