Burnley boss Vincent Kompany thanked the home support after defeat to Manchester United.
Burnley lost 1-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday night.
Kompany said: We had tremendous support. On another day the last moment of the game gives us something more and I think the key thing for me is that we didn't have to suffer the game. We were in the game and trying to impose our ideas as well and I think that gives results.
Saying you want results - I don't believe in that.
"Working for results and improving and getting your habits and your standards right - I believe that gets results and we keep that in this squad."
