Burnley defender Ameen Al-Dakhil lamented his team's fortune over the weekend.
The Clarets, who are in the bottom three in the Premier League, lost to Manchester United at home at the weekend.
Despite the setback, Al-Dakhil believes that his side were unlucky and could have earned a lot more out of the contest.
"As a team, we did a lot right," he told BBC Radio Lancashire. "Possession-wise, we had all of the ball and they were only playing on the counterattack.
"We defended well but in the Premier League, it is always the details that matter.
We hit the post and if that had been a goal the game would have been very different.
We had the chances but did not score. We were a bit unlucky but it will come."
