Aro Muric believes his experiences at Manchester City will help him excel at Burnley.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has joined from City in a deal reportedly worth £3m, becoming Vincent Kompany's eighth summer signing.

Muric said: "To train and play with some of the best players in the world was great for me. It was a good experience for me to learn from them and hopefully I bring some of that with me to Burnley.

"I've played in Spain, Holland, Turkey and of course England too! They were all good experiences for me, but now I'm ready for the next step.

"I trained with him for over two years at City, he was my captain at the time, so I know him quite well. I am now happy to be back and working under him as my new manager.

"He has always showed the leadership and qualities of becoming a manager. I think he is a natural leader; he has shown it for many years, and I think he has the right experience for it."
