Burnley have failed with a new offer for Sunderland winger Jack Clarke.
The Sun's Alan Nixon is reporting the Clarets have offered 10m for the midfielder.
Clarke has just come off a superb season with Sunderland, helping them reach the promotion playoffs.
It was Burnley's second bid, having upped it from 7m.
Several other clubs are also monitoring Clarke's situation after last season's Sunderland campaign.
