Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is not sure about the signing of Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg.
The Clarets are rumored to want the center-back on loan as soon as possible.
Van den Berg was impressive in the Championship with Preston North End last season.
Asked about the matter, Kompany told reporters: "We're talking about another club's player.
''All I can say is Sepp is a really good player but a key part of it is to find a balance between the players we've already got and the game time, making sure that we're strong enough.
"And if I follow the progress of our team I think it's fair to say we have been defending well in our own way.''
