Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill says defeat to Arsenal wasn't good enough.

The Gunners won 5-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Brownhill said: "Overall it wasn't good enough at all. We can work as hard as we want but the quality wasn't there. Some of the goals weren't acceptable. We've shown we can compete against some of the top teams and today it didn't feel like we did.

"The majority of the goals we could have done better. Switching off when they had a throw-in, getting out to the ball at the edge of the box, I could go through them all. It looked too easy for them.

"There is no doubt Arsenal are a top team but today it goes down to us.

"This game won't define our season - it isn't great losing 5-0 of course - but we've had a real tough run of games. We will look forward to the next game to put it right as quickly as possible.

"The fans don't deserve what they saw today."
