Premier League newcomers Burnley are hoping to conclude a deal to sign Gustavo Hamer from Coventry.
The Dutch-Brazilian was impressive in the Championship last season, as Coventry nearly reached the Premier League after losing the Play-Off Final.
Per The Mail, Burnley boss Vincent Kompany is a huge admirer of the midfielder.
Coventry value Hamer at about 15 million and do not want to sell him for a lower fee.
The two clubs are in talks and the structure of a deal is being discussed at present.
There is a chance that Burnley will offer one of their players in part exchange, either on a permanent deal or a loan.
