Chelsea striker David Fofana is expected in Burnley over the weekend to sign on loan.
The Blues are letting the 22-year-old depart for a Premier League club to gain experience.
Fofana was previously on loan at Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, but felt he could do better in the Premier League.
Chelsea also made this move to get one international loan spot to use on Ian Maatsen.
The latter has now signed for Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.
Sevilla wanted Fofana on loan but may have to wait until the summer to make any move, given Chelsea's international loans limit has been reached.
