Kids could possibly be one of the greatest gifts to parents out there. Having kids around would mean that there’s never a dull moment as they would come up with the funniest things to say!
Just recently, a woman from China shared a video online where her 6-year-old daughter was feeling upset. When she asked why she was upset, she cried saying,
“I don’t want to look like daddy!”
Turns out, her daughter was “hurt” by her friend’s comment saying that her daughter looks like her dad. The little girl even said,
“You’re the one who gave birth to me, dad didn’t give birth to me, why would I look like him and not you.”
She then continued crying and mentioned that,
“When people sing, they don’t sing “only dad is great”, they sing “only mom is great”, I want to look like you and not daddy.”
The mum laughed at what her daughter said and mentioned that her father would be heartbroken if he heard what she said. The mum added that the father-daughter duo do indeed have a good relationship with each other, and he really treats her well.
Many netizens found it amusing and here’s what some of them said:
“My kids are like that too, when someone says they look like their dad they’d cry, because they think their dad is ugly.”
“Haha, mum gave birth to me, who must I look like dad.”
“I think I look like my dad too. I look exactly like a guy.”
“This is why you should find a partner who is good looking. To prevent your daughter from complaining.”
This 6-year-old cutie sure has become the highlight of the family, with her quick wit. Hope the father wasn’t hurt by her words!
