Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea fully deserves his Golden Glove award.
That is the opinion of his teammate and current backup keeper Jack Butland.
De Gea is the Premier League Golden Glove winner this season for the most clean sheets.
Before getting his 17th of the campaign against Bournemouth in a 1-0 win, De Gea earned praise from Butland.
I've watched him from a distance for a long time and he's a fantastic shot stopper. He's a great guy. He's been enjoyable to work with," Butland told club media.
He's been great for me since I've come in, been really positive and helpful, and I've enjoyed working with him. So it's been good fun and he deserves it.
I think it might be his second Golden Glove. I'm surprised he hasn't had more, but such is the quality of the league. He's a top goalkeeper, he deserves it and he's been vitally important in those clean sheets.
Where we're at in the league right now, he's played a big part in that and he fully deserves the Golden Glove."
