Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke has slammed former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders.
Watzke was furious after Saunders declared Sadio Mane "will ruin the two best years of his life" after leaving the Reds for Bayern Munich.
An unimpressed Watzke responded, stating: "There are always some arrogant idiots like this.
"As a member of the ECA, the European Club Association, I am aware that German football still has a good reputation.
"The English did not win any of their three European trophies last season!"
