This big step is a part of the company's larger plan to increase its presence in foreign markets. The Sealion 6, a new electric vehicle model from BYD, was launched into the Sri Lankan market in conjunction with the store's opening. The introduction of BYD to Sri Lanka could encourage the growth of EV infrastructure in addition to giving customers more options for electric cars.
