This contrasts sharply with Tesla's sales decline, indicating BYD's growing foothold in the European market.Last month, over 380,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) were sold by the automaker, a 21% rise over April 2024. Year-To-Date as of April, the firm has sold over 285,000 vehicles internationally, more than double the sales volume from the same period last year. In Germany, BYD's April 2025 sales surpassed Tesla's, with 1,566 units sold, an increase of 756% compared to April 2024. Tesla sold only 855 vehicles, a 46% decline.
