KUCHING: A woman driver cheated death when her car burst into flames following a two-vehicle collision on the Samarahan Expressway late Wednesday night, The Borneo Post reported.
A dramatic video of bystanders rescuing the woman from the burning Toyota Vios has since gone viral on social media.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak said it received a report on the incident at 11.10pm and dispatched firefighters from the Kota Samarahan station.
Two men from the other vehicle, a Proton Saga, also sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team.
The fire was extinguished by firefighters using a hose line, and the operation was declared safe at 11.51pm.
