BZU BZU has achieved a Malaysia Book of Records title for “Most Baby Diapers Donated in a Charity Campaign”, following the donation of 30,000 packs of BZU BZU VelvetBreeze Baby Diapers, amounting to a total of 1,578,448 diaper pieces to three local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) supporting children and families in need.

The event brought together distinguished guests, representatives from Malaysian NGO partners and media presence. Among the VIP guests was Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Datin Paduka Setia Zatashah Binti Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, the second daughter of His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Sultan of Selangor, and Chairperson of Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia (YFBM), Encik Johan Halid, Chief Executive Officer of YFBM, Dr. Shahrizal Azwan, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) and Puan Laili Ismail, President of PERTIWI whose presence added significance to the occasion and the cause behind the initiative.

The initiative reflects BZU BZU’s continued commitment to supporting families through practical contributions that address everyday needs.

A Shared Commitment to Giving Back

BZU BZU’s “A Million Acts of Care” donation builds on BZU BZU’s past community initiatives. In 2020, the brand partnered with the Ministry of Education to provide more than 100,000 medical-grade face masks to underprivileged students across Malaysia.

The partnership was initiated to ensure students’ safety, encouraging them to practice social distancing and follow the new standard operating procedures (SOP), as well as reaching out to schools in underserved areas to receive medical-grade face masks.

As part of this continued commitment, the donated 30,000 packs of diapers will be distributed through the respective community networks of the three charitable organisations – Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia (YFBM), Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) and PERTIWI, reaching families and children across communities facing different forms of need. This includes flood-affected families, B40 and underprivileged communities, refugees and families living in public housing programmes (PPR), providing essential everyday care support where it is needed most.

“Our teams on the ground have seen first-hand how basic necessities, especially diapers, can make an immense difference to families facing difficult circumstances. For many parents and caregivers, support like this helps ease daily financial pressures while allowing children to receive the comfort, cleanliness and dignity they deserve,” said Encik Johan Halid, CEO of YFBM.

Turning Care Into Action

Speaking at the event, Raphael Jiang, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Elite Beauty Asia, highlighted the importance of extending care beyond the products offered by BZU BZU.

“For BZU BZU, a record is only a moment. The real achievement will happen quietly in the months ahead, in homes across Malaysia, as these diapers reach the families and children they were meant for,” said Raphael Jiang.

From 15 to 18 October 2026, members of the public are invited to visit BZU BZU’s “A Million Acts of Care” roadshow at MyTOWN Shopping Centre at East Atrium, Ground Floor. Visitors can experience BZU BZU’s VelvetBreeze Baby Diapers up close, with engaging product demonstrations and mini games designed to showcase the product’s features and bring the BZU BZU brand experience to life.
