RB Salzburg seek Haaland auction as Juventus, Man Utd head queue

RB Salzburg are aiming for an auction over the sale of superkid Erling Haaland.

The Guardian says Manchester United and Juventus lead a queue of more than 20 teams chasing Haaland.

Haaland has burst onto the scene in style this season, netting 22 goals in 15 games for the Austrian side already - including a remarkable first-half hat-trick in the Champions League against Genk.

United have known of Haaland's ability for a long time, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the youngster working together for two seasons in Norway at Molde.

Meanwhile, Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici, was interested in acquiring his services for just 5.1million in the summer of 2018.

However, Haaland was reluctant to join a side where he would receive limited playing time.
