Tucked just outside Pavilion Bukit Jalil, TOGO is a clean, monochrome cafe that brings together minimalist aesthetics and Japanese fusion flavours. Whether you're looking for a quiet lunch spot after shopping or a sleek environment to get some work done, this cafe checks the right boxes.

Environment

The atmosphere is what first sets TOGO apart — modern, spacious, and subtly industrial. Black and grey tones dominate the interior, softened by warm lighting and simple decor. It’s the kind of place that feels productive yet calming. Most importantly, there are plenty of power plugs, making it ideal for laptop work or longer stays.

Food

TOGO delivers some surprisingly unique takes. Their Truffle Twist Carbonara (RM28) is one of their standout dishes. Instead of the usual pasta, it uses chewy udon noodles, mixed with seafood and their house-made truffle kombu butter. Creamy, flavourful and comforting, a solid fusion done right. The Familydon (RM27) is a take on the classic Oyakodon, it was also satisfying with its sweet-savory profile. However, considering its a relatively simple rice bowl, the price feels slightly steep.

One of the most memorable items was their TOGO French Toast (RM23). Coated in caramelised brown butter and served with French vanilla ice cream, it was indulgent and delicious. Still, for just one slice of toast with a few berries, the portion may leave some wanting more.

Accessibility

Located right outside Pavilion Bukit Jalil, TOGO is perfect for a post-shopping coffee or meal. Parking is easy if you're already in the area.

Verdict

TOGO is a beautifully designed cafe — perfect for those who enjoy taking photos in stylish spaces. With its clean, minimalist interior and Japanese fusion menu, it offers a solid cafe experience. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected for most KL cafes these days. Come for the aesthetics, stay for the udon.
