Kota Kinabalu: A Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) leader called on hospitals to be unbiased and sensible when it comes to offering treatment to patients.
Its Tg Aru Division Chief Hiew Choon Yu pointed out the issue of a certain hospital refusing to treat a patient’s menstrual pain due to her alleged “inappropriate” clothing, among other incidents.
He questioned if dress codes were more important than saving lives.
