Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Women’s Affairs Department (JHEWA) is urged to hold more courses or lectures on leadership, especially for women in the state.

Community Development and People’s Welfare Minister Datuk James Ratib said the government should dignify women and give them appropriate knowledge to face the challenges in the fields they enter.

He said the government should also encourage this group of women to take up some important positions in employment, especially in Sabah, so they could be helped and appointed to be leaders not only at the regional and state level but also at the national level.
