- The Israeli-American Council has launched a petition demanding Ed Sheeran remove rapper Macklemore as the support act on his US tour.
- The call follows Macklemore chanting "Free Palestine" and performing his Gaza protest song "Hind's Hall" at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
- The advocacy group accused the musician of using a global concert platform to promote a "one-sided political agenda".
- Macklemore told the audience that sharing his message of peace and solidarity with Palestine was a primary motivation for joining the tour.
- The rapper is currently scheduled to appear as the opening act for eight further dates on Sheeran's tour through to November.
